It has a sanctuary to thousands of pink flamingos, pelicans and other exotic birds and creatures. This is one of the safest beaches for learning how to kiteboard. It\u00b4s great on North winds in a flat water lagoon set up. It\u00b4s a great <em>spot<\/em> to learn to kiteboard as the lagoon inlet is practically all waist water deep. The ports are primarily fishing villages, but recently have tourist activity. These are great beaches for learning how to <strong>kitesurfing<\/strong> in a remote and exotic place, due to its exposure to consistently side-onshore winds, shallow waters, no big obstacles on the wide and long beach, natural beauty and many days of wind during all year. The water is not very deep, 10 meters deep 4 kilometers out to sea. You can walk out about 100 meters till water gets to your neck. The wind is good almost all year round, except for July and August, which is the lowest wind season. The rest of the year, this is a very reliable spot for kiteboarding.
