A truly mexican kitesurfing paradise, with shallow waters, side shore wind, wide and empty beaches, ideal for downwinders and kiteboarders beginners. The wind usually starts in the afternoon. If you have ‘north’ winds, usually strong winds, the water can be choppy and wavy. The windy season: November till July. Mostly hot. A Shorty is comfortable for winter and north winds.
Dominant winds: N, NE, E. Respect to shore: side-onshore, sideshore. Best direction: N, NE. Wind strength 10 knots to 25 knots. La Brisa or termal wind comes usually in the afternoon with NE sideshore, even when the forecast predicts no wind between march to june.
