During three days (8, 9 and 10 April 2016) the Wind & Music Fest was held on the beautiful beaches of the Maviri in Sinaloa at the Beach Club Maviri. The festival consisted of live music during the those days, from rock bands, regaee, batucada and several DJs. There was different kite categories mainly freestyle and racing. The wind cooperated practically the whole tournament, but the final hit could not be developed due to the lack of wind. The judges decided count the points of the best tricks in previous hits of the finalists to determine the winners.
1st place- Luis Diego (La Ventana) 2nd place- Andrés Tapia (Guadalajara) 3rd place.- Juan Pablo Tron (Nuevo Vallarta).
