The tournament was run and organized by the Asociación Yucateca de Kiteboard in mid-July. At this time is difficult to find good wind in the country, but Sisal Yucatan showed us that it is a super kite spot because during the three days of competition, we were fortunate to have wind almost every day from 11 am to 7 pm, with perfect wind conditions up to 25 knots.
It is the second time this kiteboarding event is held, giving the opportunity to several mexican and foreign competitors. The Kitesummer fest brought together more than 30 kiters who flew and did great tricks to impress the public.

2nd place freestyle.- Angel Rojas freestyl from Progreso, Yucatan.
3rd place freestyle.- Luis Diego from La Ventana, Baja California.
